About Us

The midwifery clinics in Trollhättan, Lilla Edet, and Vänersborg have a common manager and work closely together, for example through joint workplace meetings and the same telephone system (ACE).

All clinics are centrally located with good communication opportunities. At the clinic in Vänersborg, there are five midwives and one nursing assistant. The clinic collaborates with the family center Sirius.

About the Job

As a midwife, you will work independently with reproductive and sexual health. Your duties will include pregnancy monitoring, gynecological cell sample screenings, vaccinations, contraceptive counseling, STI prevention work, and group parental support. You will also work with telephone counseling, digital healthcare meetings, and supervision of students.

About You

We are looking for a licensed midwife with prescribing rights. Experience from working in a midwifery clinic is an advantage. As a person, you are independent, flexible, and have good collaboration skills. You also have a professional attitude and a positive approach towards both patients and colleagues. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability for the position.

Conditions

The position is based at the clinic in Vänersborg, but there may also be work at the midwifery clinics in Trollhättan and Lilla Edet.
